Legend of the Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle Sculpture

By artist Richard Warsin
Even Scotland Yard couldn't unravel the tales told of a mysterious "hopping creature" who repeatedly left gargoyle-like tracks outside Cambridge, England as recently as 1992. Artist Richard Warsin's mischievous gargoyle—with fiery eyes, bony spine, and devilish tongue—crouches ready to pounce on any unsuspecting passersby. This quality designer resin creature is so elusive that he's exclusive to Toscano!

7½"Wx12½"Dx10"H. 3 lbs.

Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle-sweet My garden this past season was missing something but I wasn't sure what exactly. I had all my favorite flowers, climbing vines with all their flowers, my plants with intricate foliage and pretty stakes and hanging chimes. It wasn't until I reviewed your catalog and saw the cute crouching whimsical face of the Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle, that I knew that is what my garden needed. Then I thought, what a great gift this would make for my brothers garden who lives in Cambridge. So two Cambridge Hopping Gargoyles are on the loose in our gardens! January 1, 2015
As always product was right on! FAST, FAST, on time, Excellent Packing, NO PROBLEMS. July 5, 2014
He is so darned cute I had to buy two! Great quality, awesome detail. How could you not just love him? April 7, 2014
Stunning! I get so many compliments on this gargoyle. I have had him quite a few years now. He is quite heavy and very well made! He adds so much wonder and ambience where ever you place him and I feel like he is protecting my home no matter what. Beautiful - nice color - well made - recommend!!!! January 15, 2014
"Hopper" We have owned "Hopper" for several years now and he has occupied various locations in our garden and backyard. As soon as the snow melts, he takes up residency in the elements and maintains a constant vigil until late fall. After 5 years, he has held up very well. Some peeling of his seal coat has required touching up (with clear enamel) - A 30 second fix and good as new. Considering the UV's from the sun, temperature swings, rain, etc., he has endured amazingly well, and we are more than satisfied with this D/T purchase. Larry D. from da U.P. December 8, 2013

Evil looking Not a bad gargoyle. I put him on my bookshelf. One of a kind, and much different than most gargoyles,..... is why I purchased him :) September 22, 2012
