Desk-Sized Catapult and Guillotine Set
Wonderful working replicas
This desk set is beyond expectation. Very heavy weight and detailed. Working replicas that were a great hit. Everyone wanted them. Detail is excellent and very realistic.

I absolutely love these devices they actually work the guillotine slides up and down and the catapult does pullback they have a lot of weight to them they are not poorly made. They look awesome in my collection. They are just as described in the catalog

Both these items look really nice, good attention to detail, nice and heavy, no plastic. But don't expect them to work well. the catapult is hard to crank altho it does shoot a marble across the room nicely. but the gillotine is really sad because it barely works and doesn't work right, the side posts are uneven so the blade won't go down. That was a disappointment. So if you want them just for looks, go for it. If you want to play with them, go look elsewhere.

Product is so cheaply made that I refused to give it as a gift.
I purchased a toy catapult at The Tower of London gift shop for about $5 and regretted that I only purchased one. So I ordered this pair of devices as a gift for my grandson. The catapult works, but is very cheaply designed and finished. The guillotine barely functions, the blade usually falling out of its guides. Overpriced junk that best serves as paperweights. No wonder they are on sale -- and still grossly overpriced.

fun desktop items
These are the perfect desk sets for my gamer hubby. They appear authentic and also make great props for his role-playing games!

Great detail for miniatures
I was surprised to see how solid these items were. Great as paper weights and so authentic looking.

broken on arrival
Both of them were broken on arrival and never worked, but not worth the effort required to exchange them. Very disappointed overall.

The guillotine does not have a long enough cord to tie it up as shown in the picture. In addition, the blade does not fall smoothly down and often does not fall into the lunette but lands on top of it at an angle. The catapult does work as advertised but the crank is too hard to use with one hand (and is awkward to reach and turn). I would not recommend either item.
