Something to "crow" about
Perfect in every detail down to the last feather.A beautiful piece of art and admired by all who see him. He is very lifelike especially the way he sits away from the wall. He arrived perfectly packaged and in good time( orders from the USA to Canada can take forever) and he is now a very popular family member, eerie but loved as he evokes many different feelings in those who see him.

Wonderful
This guy is a great addition to any room. He looks very realistic, from the branch he's perched on, to the look in his eyes, to the heavily ruffled texture of his feathers. I really love him.
The only complaint I have is that in a few places, the feathers weren't painted as fully as they should have been. This looks like a side effect of having so much detailed texture -- the paint didn't quite go down into all the crevices. This is more noticeable than on, say, the macaw sculptures, since the black color of the raven contrasts much more with the white resin it's made from.
Other than that, I really like this piece. I've always loved ravens and this is far cooler than just having a picture of one hanging on my wall.

I expected a full bird not 3/4 of the beast. Size was impressive and coloring is good.

The raven is perfect in every way. It has a very easy way to attach it to a wall, tree or anywhere for display either indoors or out. Thank you, Toscano for the perfect gift.

Okay, but ........
When I received the item, I noticed two large burrs, lumps, of resin on the beak. Whoever is doing quality control obviously isn't paying attention. The lump was painted over along with the rest of the bird. Also, the branch on which the raven is perched, is so dark, that the raven hardly stands out. I have it hanging on my wall and people don't know it's a raven until they get up close to it because it blends in with the branch. I am going to file off the burrs and repaint the branch to a lighter color. I got a good price on this and it's easier to fix it myself than to send it back. Overall, I like this mold. It's very realistic. The body is finished in matte/satin, and the eye is glossy, so that makes the eye stand out.

I received him today and he is BEAUTIFUL...I put him on my tree directly next to my front door and he looks so real it is unbelievable. The tree branch he sits on blends into the tree and you have to look several times because it is so lifelike. I will order another before they are gone. Thank You toscano.
