Better color than pictured!
My husband, always thinking ahead, chose this as a cemetery statue should he pass away. He did unexpectedly pass away and I purchased this statue to be placed at his grave. Everyone thinks it is amazing!

Worth the price
This Easter Island Moai statue is one of the best garden statues I've ever seen. It looks like it's carved from actual stone. Perfect look.

Ditto everything I said in my first review!
Okay, so I;m writing a second review for this item! This is my second purchase of the item so I suppose I am justified. Evidently, I am not the only person who is impressed by this statue. A couple months ago the original statue was stolen from my front yard. I missed him as did the neighbors and the Toscano Olmec Head that shares a spot in my yard. It did not look the same without his lovely face, I filed my police report knowing that the chances of getting him back were nil. I live just 2-3 miles from the border with Mexico and have no doubts that is where he resides today. I immediately went to the Internet and was pleased to learn that the statue was still available from Design Toscano . I ordered a replacement and in less than a week the front yard was back to a normal appearance. This time, however, he is being held prisoner with a chain and padlock around his narrow neck. At the very least it will make it much more difficult for the thieves.
He fits in so well with my desert landscaping! I hope he is here to stay this time.

This item arrived this spring and is a great addition to my somewhat exotic garden that combines statues with exotic plants and live wildlife. I am a wildlife keeper for a local wildlife rescue group, specializing in parrots and small mammals. My useable space in the patio is shrinking quickly but this statue is great. While being of an impressive size, it takes up little square footage. It is very realistic, even more so than Toscano's smaller Easter Island statues, which I also own. This large version looks more like ancient, weathered stone. This statue is a nice compromise over the super large size and the smaller. It is weighty enough to stand up against most wind if provided at good base but it is light enough for one person to move it when necessary.
