Coat of Arms Gothic Revival Armoire
I drooled on my computer screen for years while I stared at this cabinet. After remodeling my house, I had a perfect spot and wasted no time in buying it. It's been a show-stopper ever since. It's useful and beautiful!

Beautiful, Unique, Exceeds Expectations
After many years of looking at this piece online we finally had a place for it in our new home and ordered it. It was well worth the wait. This is a solid, handcrafted piece of furniture, and very heavy. Be aware that delivery will only drop it at the door and you will need 2 people to move it. It arrived well packed in good condition even though the box showed damage. For those sensitive to the varnish/chemical smell of some furniture we are pleased to note this piece arrived with only a very slight shellac smell which very quickly dissipated.
The finish and carving is gorgeous on ours, yet smooth and easy to dust. The color is deep and rich, slightly darker and just a bit more red than shown. The back is solid. Inside the single swing out carved door are 3 adjustable shelves that run the entire inside width and 2 side by side 5" high x 10" wide drawers at the bottom. The drawers have lengthwise wood dividers so only useful for smaller items like socks, jewelry, envelopes or silverware depending on how you wish to use it. Also note that the door has to be able to swing completely open to allow the drawer on the right side to clear it so no placing the right side into a corner or you will loose the use of that drawer. The door itself is hinged sturdily on ours and opens/locks with an antique style key.
Overall it is a beautiful piece which has proven both functional and a real comment getter. We are delighted with our purchase even though we had to wait for the back order and would recommend it as a good value at the sale price.
