Chippendale Corner Chair 5 5 3 3
This chair is as beautiful and comfortable as it is solid and I would not part with it. I have seen authentic antique versions of this chairs in museums. I promised myself that one day I would find a replica and buy it. The model I purchased from you is almost an exact replica. The legs are perhaps very slightly heavier but they do not take away from the chair's appearance in any way and may in fact make it more solid. The color is a deep rich mahogany which is very likely the color the originals were when new. Finally the chair is extremely comfortable. I love resting my arms on the arm rests. This is a chair that will be passed down generations. One of my sons has already laid claim to it. April 23, 2014
Beautiful and gorgeous chair! Just today received this chair and it is absolutely everything I had hoped it would be. We re-did our office and bedroom in colonial Williamsburg style with chair rail and crown molding, faux wainscoting, etc. This chair looks absolutely RIGHT in the corner of our office, is sturdy and functional and quite beautiful. I just wish I had another corner I could put one in and buy another while the opportunity exists, but alas, I don't! October 2, 2012
I found the over-all look of the wood of this chair more in line with a more expensive piece of furniture. My only suggestion would be that the fabric be in an ecru-on-ecru damask instead of the yellow-gold fabric. December 1, 2007
