Birth of Venus Bonded Marble Statue
After the 1879 painting by William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905), Musee d'Orsay, Paris

A three-dimensional rendition of 19th-century artist Bouguereau s tour de force, this fine sculpture presents beautiful Venus, goddess of love and beauty, atop the shell that transported her from the sea to Cyprus. Capturing the artist s mastery of the sumptuous female form, this stately sculpture translates the mythological goddess into a bonded natural marble work worthy of any fine gallery collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful!! I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered this marble statue. A picture can only tell so much as to quality, so when the package was opened, I was very pleased. Truly a beautiful work of art. And nothing was broken, the packaging was solid. I highly recommend.
