Japanese Maiko Geisha Fan Dancer Statues

Echoing the dances of the Maiko (or apprentice) Geisha, these almost 2-foot-high figurines arch in the centuries-old, graceful fan dances favored in western Japan. Oyuki ( Honorable Snow ) beckons with both of her unfolded fans while Teruha ( Shining Leaf ) holds her fan close to her heart. Both Basil Street Gallery sculptures are artisan cast in quality designer resin and hand painted with a uniquely hand-tinted, watercolor effect sure to bring admiration in home or gallery.
