Baby Dionysus A charming piece in deep relief. The color is grey/white, but looks almost like marble. A very interesting statement full of myth, legend and lore. January 8, 2014
Very attractive wall sculpture The finish is not pure white as it may appear in the picture. Instead, the finish is more like "dark stone" or "dirty white". I actually like this finish better than pure white because the contrast between the light and dark parts add depth and texture to the sculpture. I only gave four stars for overall product quality and meets expectations because there are some "bubbles" in the background. However, these are minor defects that do not detract from the overall beauty of the sculpture. In addition, Thorvaldsen's signature can be found in the lower right portion of the sculpture. Design Toscano says that this product is made from a direct cast of the museum original. I am extremely happy with the level of detail of this work of art. July 2, 2012
