Collectible Renaissance Carriage Box
Even the Czarina would be delighted with this exquisite enameled clock, skillfully rendered in the style of the Imperial Russian jeweler. A wax sculpture is created and cast in metal alloy using the ancient “lost wax” method. Then the quality quartz clock, brilliant enamel, faux jewels and tiny embellishments are added. So detailed that even its wheels turn and the lid of the carriage lifts off to reveal a tiny compartment for your treasure

Little Clock Made a BIG Impression Okay guys, this is how I used this piece. It was my wife’s 50th birthday and her entire family would be there. The pressure was on. I bought her a ring but wasn’t sure how to give it to her. Then I spotted this little clock. I thought it was pretty. Then I realized it had a tiny secret compartment at the top and then I thought it was perfect. I put the ring in it. Then I wanted to jazz up giving her the clock so I took an old briefcase and went to my local craft store. They arranged 50 gold-colored dollars with the clock as the centerpiece. They even rigged it up with a musical birthday card so that the briefcase played music when you opened it. Needless to say this little clock made an over-the-top presentation and she loved it. I got a gold star for this one. She now keeps the clock on her vanity and when she looks at it she can remember the little story about how she got it. April 8, 2013
Both these little clocks are a perfect accompaniment to a collection of eggs and jeweled or enameled picture frames. Charming, and even prettier than the pictures show. Would make a gorgeous stocking stuffer or surprise gift. Lovely. October 27, 2010
