Great look! Great value! Purchased for accent on an antique table. Arrived quickly. Was as pictured and added an awesome look with old leather bound books. October 14, 2014
Poor quality This lamp is not worth the money at all. Poor material and cheap quality. April 4, 2014
A very nice accent lamp I like this lamp a lot. It's made of molded resin which of course keeps the cost down, but it looks more expensive. The figurine looks like alabaster, and the accents and shade holder look like gilded metal of some sort, perhaps bronze. In general I like Art Deco, and this lamp really captures the essence of that movement. I have the lamp on my mantel where everyone who enters my house can see it. Overall a very nice piece. A good design poorly executed This product did not meet the high standard I have come to associate with Toscano products. First about delivery- I placed the order knowing the item was not in stock but wishing to take advantage of a current discount. But the expected delivery date was revised into the future twice, which was disappointing. But more particularly to the product itself: The item comes with a glass globe. The frosting on it was irregular; having a kind of semi-window with defined edges which detracted from the overall effect and had to be turned away from the line of sight. The faux gold leaf had been daubed with a brush with reddish brown paint- one could see the stippled marks of the bristles as it was applied end-on, and in one place it had run. This detracted from the gold leaf effect. Finally, the brush had touched the cheek of the model on one side, leaving a couple of parallel streaks , noticeable as brown against the ivory. In summation I would say the lamp is a pleasant concept but somewhat sloppily executed. I debated exchanging the lamp for a replacement but decided to avoid the hassle of perhaps multiple returns, and to live with what I have. On the plus side, I have ordered and received 5 other Toscano products and have had considerable satisfaction and no complaint with any of them. March 16, 2012

About my art deco lited sculpture I was amazed with the beauty of my art deco lighted sculpture. The craftmanship is so awsome. It is a conversation peace with everyone who visits our home. We love the art piece especially the lighted part. I would give this piece to anyone no matter what their decor. It would fit in with any home decor already in the home.
