"Master of the Horse" Mark Antony Statue

All hail! The most famous Master of the Horse, Mark Antony (83-30 BC) was appointed by and served under Julius Caesar. Sculpted as a military commander and administrator, he raises a sword astride his stately steed, perhaps in the valiant Final War of the Roman Republic. Cast in quality designer resin and hand-finished in faux bronze to capture battle garb and steadfast bravery, this Basil Street Gallery work of art is a historic collectible of Rome's transformation from Republic to Empire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel the history. An excellent artistic rendering of the great cavalry commander, Marc Anthony. The horse is powerfully made and exhibits both its muscular strength and dauntless courage. The helmet crest on mine was not painted red as in the photo but that is a minor detail. I would recommend it to others.
