Chinese artist Jaimy is one of those rarities who continuously surprises and delights us with his creative imagination and extraordinary skillful sculpts. A master of portraying the childlike innocence in all matter, be it in the animal kingdom, or in the fantasy world of fairies and cherubs, an aura of mystical whimsy surrounds his masterpieces.
Nature is the inspiration for my work, says Jaimy. Chinese sculptors are known for creating delicate figures, and molding human figures and animals is a popular folk art in China. Early inspirations for Chinese art were developed from supernatural beliefs or from the natural environment or landscape.
